Active Directory & SSO

Coming soon. We are actively working on this. This article describes what is planned, so you know what to expect when it ships.

Primentra will connect to your existing Active Directory, so you manage who has access from one place instead of two.

What is planned

  • Sync users and groups from Active Directory instead of creating every account by hand in Primentra.
  • Sign in with the same credentials used everywhere else on the network — no separate Primentra password to remember or reset.
  • Group membership in Active Directory maps to roles in Primentra, so adding someone to the right AD group is enough to give them access.
  • Deactivating an account in Active Directory removes their access here too, without a separate step.

Why this matters

Today, every Primentra account is created and managed on its own — see User Management. That is fine for a small team, and becomes more work as the user list grows, or when someone leaves and access needs to be removed everywhere at once. Single sign-on closes that gap.
