The real cost of enterprise MDM
The average MDS migration project runs €18,000–36,000 in consultant hours. Primentra's built-in migration wizard handles it in under an hour.

Frequently asked questions
Why is it priced lower than enterprise MDM tools?
Enterprise MDM vendors charge €50k–€500k/year partly to fund the implementation teams they sell alongside the license. We don't do that. No consultant fees baked in, no inflated list price. You pay for the software.
Will the price go up later?
€7,500/year is the price, not an introductory rate that expires. It may be adjusted once a year at renewal, by no more than the Dutch consumer price index (CPI) published by CBS — so it can track inflation, but not jump. You get at least 60 days notice, and anything above that cap needs your agreement. It is in our terms, section 10.
Is there a discount for a longer term?
Yes. A two-year term is 10% cheaper than two single years, and the price is fixed for the whole two years — no indexation in between. One year renews annually, with any adjustment capped at Dutch inflation.
What happens when the 60-day trial ends?
Primentra becomes read-only. Your data stays exactly where it already is, in your own SQL Server — nothing is deleted and nothing is sent to us. Enter a licence key and everything is editable again. The same applies if you stop subscribing later: you may keep Primentra installed and read your data for as long as you like, at no further cost. Your data is never held hostage.
How does payment work?
We invoice annually in advance, payable by bank transfer within 30 days. No credit cards, and no recurring card charge to remember to cancel. If your procurement needs a purchase order reference on the invoice, send it over and we will put it there. Invoices include VAT unless you give us a valid VAT number before we issue them — we ask for it when you order. Dutch customers are charged Dutch VAT either way; an EU business outside the Netherlands with a valid number is invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism.
How does this compare to enterprise MDM pricing?
Profisee, Informatica, and SAP MDG typically run €50,000–€500,000+ per year plus consultant fees. Primentra is €7,500/year with no consultants needed, no per-seat fees, and self-hosted on your own SQL Server.
Do I need to hire consultants to get started?
No. Primentra installs in minutes on any Windows machine with SQL Server. There's no implementation project, no training required, and no consultant fees. The built-in migration wizard handles the move from Microsoft MDS automatically.
Is a license per server or per company?
Per server. One license covers one production installation, plus any number of non-production environments (dev, test, UAT) within the same organisation. If you run Primentra on two production servers — for example, one for EMEA and one for APAC — each requires its own license. There are no per-seat fees and no limit on users or data volume; the only boundary is the number of production servers.
